#REVIEW: Six of Crows (Six of Crows #1) by Leigh Bardugo

This is the story of a crew of YA skilled experts who team together for the one last haul.

Kaz with his crow cane leads this team of  6, a convict, sharpshooter, a runaway,  a spy, a Heartrender and a thief.  They all have their own special skills that will make this job work, but it is a job that could get them killed or sent to the worst prison imaginable.

I felt this book was slow to start but when the team got together you could sometimes cut the tension with a knife, Nina and Mathias with their love/hate romance, the friendship between the team grows even though they can’t stand each other.  But Kaz, I love this character he  is so young but also so old, he has learnt to survive on the streets of Ketterdam and has a reputation that no-one would try anything with him.

Can’t wait to read the next instalment of the series “Six of Crows” “The Crooked Kingdom” by Leigh Bardugo.
