She needs to get away for awhile, so she picks a direction, packs her bags, and heads out on a road trip. Her first stop is a small town in Vermont where she decides to spend a few days learning how to ski. Her first day on the slopes is a complete disaster, but she meets several wonderfully amusing new friends later that day. These friends show Grace how laughter and having fun will help her get over her heartache, but that is not all these friends are trying to do. They have discovered their beloved sheriff, Daniel, is crazy about Grace and they are trying to convince her that love is worth one more try.

Meeting several people along the way, she makes friends and learns to laugh again. But then her friends decide she is well suited for the local Sherrif, Daniel and here starts the journey of romance and love.
I found this hard to read, maybe the kind of righting style was not for me, but it felt like it read more like a journal entry rather that a story. There seems to be too much description about irrelevant things.
