This is the story of Emory Rome, Special Agent for the FBI in Tennessee, and is requested to return to his hometown to solve a brutal murder.
Strange deaths are happening in this town, from a teenage girl ice-skating being murdered and then her coach dies of what is thought to be spontaneous combustion. The Sherriff of the town cannot deal with this alone, with also Private Investigator Jeff Woodward in on the case who is hired by the girl’s father there are doubts and secrets among them all. Who could the killer be, could it be someone they know?
This was a great murder mystery with lots of twists, victims and suspects galore, each having their own secret.
This was a great story by Mikel J. Wilson in the Mourning Dove Mysteries and can’t wait to see what is in the next instalment.
