He saved me… And then he blood-bonded me. Now I’m his.
My first meeting with a Chicago vampire went better than expected.
Up until that night, all I knew about vampires was limited to a few common facts: they drink blood, they get a mean sunburn and if you find yourself alone with one, you’re dead.
Except he didn’t kill me.
Sexy, broody Warin clearly had his own reasons for sparing my life and tying me with his blood, but if he’d known how much trouble I’d attract, I bet he wouldn’t have bothered. When he blood-bonded me, secrets even I didn’t know about myself came to light.
Secrets that will pull us both deep into the eternal war between vampires and the witches determined to rid the world of their evil.
We have only one choice now: fight the forces hell-bent on breaking our bond…
I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.
This is the story of Olivia who found that her love of reading vampire romance books, got her kidnapped and put in a cage. And not only that she was in the cage with a young man who she thought was dying and being the heroine that she is she felt the need to save him until she found that he was a vampire. As vampires were now well known and had come out to the public back in ’72 Olivia kinda had a feeling that she maybe his next meal.
Warin, a vampire locked in a cage with Olivia had to find a way out of the situation they were both in and save themselves from the kidnappers.
This was a great paranormal romance and whole list of characters from witches to shapeshifters and more vampires, and we see the journey of Olivia and Warin and how the chemistry between them is electric and a great HEA.
I look forward to the next instalment in this “Ancient Blood” series by Nora Ash.
